Motor vehicle collisions
On April 26th, 2018, at 10:04 a.m. police attended at Bethel Road and Phillipston Road in Thurlow Ward in relation to a two vehicle collision. Two ambulances were required to transport three injured people to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. One driver was charged with disobeying a stop sign.
On April 26th, 2018, at 12:37 p.m. police attended in a parking lot on Millennium Parkway as a car had struck a pedestrian. It was learned that a car’s front tire had driven over the foot of the pedestrian. Paramedics attended and treated the pedestrian at the scene. No charges given that this incident occurred on private property.
Arrest on warrants
On April 26th, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. a 23-year-old Belleville man was arrested on outstanding warrants for two counts of breach of probation. He was released with a court date of May 10th, 2018.
