Trespass to Property
Belleville, Ont., - On 27 February 2009 at 2:25 am police were called to a North Front Street bar for a disturbance. Police arrived and when a male patron refused to leave he was subsequently taken into custody. A 24 year old Belleville man was arrested and charged with Failing to Leave Premises When Directed contrary to the Trespass to Property Act. He was later released with a fine.
Traffic Hazard
Belleville, Ont., - On 27 February 2009 at 3:26am police were called by the OPP for their assistance to locate four persons who were walking on the 401 Highway near 62 Highway being a hazard to traffic. Belleville officers were able to locate two 22 year old females, and a 23 year old male and a 21 year old male. All four parties were escorted to the residences by police and warned of the imminent dangers.
Theft from Vehicle
Belleville, Ont., - On 27 February 2009 at 8:44 police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle which occurred some time overnight and an east end residence. It appears that the vehicle was left unlocked and a Sirius Satellite radio was stolen from inside the vehicle. Investigation is continuing.
Bail Violations
Belleville, Ont., - On 27 February 2009 at 10:08am acted on information received and attended a residence on Herchimer Avenue. Subsequent investigation resulted in a 29 year old Belleville man being taken into custody and charged with one count of Breaching his Undertaking. He was held for a Bail Hearing later this same date.
