Sexual Assault:

 

Belleville, Ontario – The Belleville Police Service is requesting the public’s help in identifying a male alleged to have sexually assaulted a female jogger.

On the 8th of December a female was jogging shortly after 8pm in the area of Dundas Street East and Pinnacle St.  The jogger was grabbed by a male who was standing on the same sidewalk she was using. The female stopped and had brief words with the male who acknowledged that he did not know who she was.  The female left the area quickly, not seeing the male again.  The suspect is described as white, being in his mid-20’s.  He was wearing a hat with a possible hoody underneath.  He is about 5’10” with a slight build.  He had no facial hair or piercings.   He is described as wearing a plaid-patterned Buffalo shirt which displayed large squares. The victim did not suffer any injuries in this incident.  Anyone with any information on this occurrence is asked to contact Det/Sgt.
