Animal Deaths

Belleville, Ontario – On the 26th of January 2017 at approximately 3pm, Investigators from the OSPCA (Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) located a box containing approximately 10 deceased puppies in the area of Farley Ave south of Dundas Street. The puppies are believed to be relative newborns. The Belleville Police Service is assisting the OSPCA and anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to call the Belleville Police, OSPCA or Quinte Crime Stoppers.

Theft from Vehicles / Attempt theft of Vehicle

Police responded to 3 separate calls regarding theft from vehicles and one included the attempt theft of the vehicle by damaging the ignition.  Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles and ensure they don’t keep valuables inside.
