Break, Enter and Thefts of Mannequins

 

Since May 8th, 2016, police have investigated 5 Break and Enters and one attempt Break and Enter to local businesses where the only items stolen have been female mannequins.  On May 8th, 2016 and June 23th, 2016, a business on Front Street was broken into and on both occasions, two female mannequins were taken. On May 13, 2016, police took a report of a break and enter overnight to another business on Front Street where a mannequin was taken.  The latest two break and enters occurred on July 14, 2016 and July 24, 2016.  On July 14, 2016 at 2:30 am, unknown suspect(s) smashed the front door glass of a Northfront Street business, entered the store and stole 2 female display mannequins.  On July 24, 2016 at approximately 4:30 am, unknown suspect(s) entered the same business on Northfront St by smashing the front door window again and then stealing four female torsos.
