Belleville, Ontario On May 26th, 2013, at 1:30 p.m., police attended at a store in the City's north end in relation to a shoplifter who had fled on foot. The shoplifter was eventually detained by store security and turned over to Police. The male had concealed a drill in his backpack and left the store without paying for the item. The accused was also identified as the male who had stolen a similar drill the day before at the same store. A check also revealed that this male was wanted in Peterborough and Kitchener on outstanding warrants. A 36 year old male of no fixed abode was held for bail on charges of theft X2 and breach of probation X 2. All of the property was recovered.
