Domestic Dispute


Belleville, On; At approximately 130 pm Belleville Police were called to a disturbance at an east end apartment complex. A 30 year old Belleville man was arrested and charged with uttering death threats. The male whose name will not be released was released on a promise to appear in court in December



Motor Vehicle Collision/Impaired


Belleville, On; At approximately 730pm on 27 November 2017 emergency services attended a single motor vehicle collision on West Street. A pickup truck had struck a building. Two occupants of the vehicle sustained minor injuries. Investigation revealed that the driver had been consuming alcohol. The driver failed a road side breath test and was arrested. 24 year old Devan Branigan of Belleville is charged with operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol level over 80 mgs. He was released on a promise to appear in December



Funny Money


Belleville, On;  Police have found that “Novelty” bank notes have been found within the city. The paper money that at glance looks real is quite fake and is allegedly used for training purpose lacks serial numbers, security features and has Chinese lettering on it. Attached is a memo from the Bank of Canada referring to the issue
