Sexual Assault
Belleville, Ont – The Belleville Police Service received a complaint alleging sexual assaults that had occurred between 1974 and 1985 from two female victims.
As a result of an investigation by the Criminal Investigation Branch, a 61 year old Belleville male, who is known to the victims, has been charged with:
· 2 counts of Sexual Assault
· 1 count of Sexual Assault with a weapon
· 1 count of Indecent assault on a female
The male attended for a Show Cause Hearing on January 25th, 2013 and was released to a court date on January 31, 2013.
No further details to be released to protect the identity of the victims.
