Disturbance

Belleville, Ontario On 27 July 2013 at 9 p.m. police attended at a residence on Bleecker Avenue in response to a complaint of a male yelling. Investigation led to a 52 year old Belleville man being arrested for breaching the peace.

Liquor License Act

Belleville, Ontario On 27 July 2013 between 2:40 p.m. and 22:32 p.m. police responded to 4 complaints involving intoxicated persons. 3 persons were arrested and Provincial Offence notices for being intoxicated in a public place.

R.I.D.E.

Belleville, Ontario Members of Belleville Police Service conducted a RIDE program throughout the evening hours on 27/ 28 July. 145 vehicles were checked at various locations throughout the City.

On 28 July 2013 at 0121 a.m. while involved in the RIDE program officers initiated an investigation in relation to operation of a motor vehicle while having more than 80 mgs of alcohol. This investigation led to the charges for both the driver and passenger.

Taylor McAuther (24 years) of Belleville has been charged with Operation of Motor Vehicle with more than 80 mgs of alcohol and is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on 15 August, 2013. The passenger was issued a ticket for being intoxicated in a public place.

Assault

Belleville, Ontario On 7 July, 2013 at 11:23 p.m. police attended at a residence on Bleecker Avenue in response to a complaint of an assault. Investigation of this complaint led to the male occupant of the residence being arrested and charged with one count of assault. The 51 year old Belleville man is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on Thursday 16 September, 2013.
