The Belleville Police Service responded to 77 calls for service between June 27th, 2019 at 5:00 a.m. and June 28th, 2019 at 5:00 a.m.

Suspicious Person

Belleville, Ontario – On the 27th of June 2019 at 11:44 a.m., police responded to the area of Cannifton Road regarding a suspicious person who seemed intoxicated, walking down the road banging on people's doors and going through people's belongings. Police attended the area and located a 21 year-old intoxicated female. Through investigation, the 21 year-old Belleville female was arrested under the Liquor Licence Act and was transported to the Belleville Police Service where she was held until sober.

Traffic Enforcement

Belleville, Ontario – On the 28th of June 2019 at 1:05 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was driving erratically in the area of Forin Street. Through investigation, police identified that the 26 year-old Belleville man was under the influence of alcohol. Subsequently, the male was issued a 3-day driver's licence suspension and his licence was seized.

Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville, Ontario – On the 27th of June 2019 at 1:22 p.m., police attended the area of North Front Street regarding a two-vehicle collision. There were no injuries and minor damages were reported. Involved parties were referred to the Collision Reporting Center located at the Belleville Police Service at 93 Dundas Street East.

Belleville, Ontario – On the 27th of June 2019 at 7:52 p.m., police attended Bell Blvd for a two-vehicle collision. There were no injuries reported. As a result of a police investigation, a female driver was charged with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
