Belleville Police Service responded to 47 calls for service from the 28th of April 2019 at 5:00 a.m. to the 29th of April 2019 at 5:00 a.m.

Mischief to Mailboxes

Belleville, Ontario – On the 28th of April police received several reports of mailboxes that had been damaged sometime overnight on Harmony Rd. If anybody has information with regards to these incidents they are asked to contact Sgt. Charbonneau of The Belleville Police.


Belleville, Ontario – On the 28th of April at approximately 4:00 p.m. police attended a group home in the city’s west end with regards to an assault that had occurred against a staff member. As a result of the investigation, police arrested a 17 year old Belleville male for assault. He was later released on a promise to appear with a court date of May 14th to answer to the charge. His identity cannot be published under stipulations of The Youth Criminal Justice Act. There were no injuries as a result of the assault.
