Belleville, Ontario ? On 28 August, 2011 at 12:19 p.m., police received a report from a female victim in relation to an assault from 26 August that took place in a Thurlow residence. Investigation of this complaint led to Jarrett Elson (34 years) being charged with Assault. Elson will appear in Provincial court on 3 October, 2011.
Break and Enter(s)
Belleville, Ontario ? On 26 August, 2011 at 4:09 p.m., police attended at a business on Harriett Street in response to a break and enter. The victim reported that a male described as : 5'9" to 6 feet, heavy build, approx 220 lbs to 240 lbs, dark medium length hair, wearing a grey sweater, black shorts (with a small white logo on the right pocket) and dirty white running shoes entered the cargo area of the building at 12:20 p.m. and stole a laptop.
Belleville, Ontario ? On 28 August, 2011 at 12:36 p.m., police attended at a residence on Benjamin Street in response to a report of break and enter that occurred between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m... The culprits forced entry via a window and stole a purse and wallet.

Belleville, Ontario ? Over the weekend police responded to multiple requests for assistance in relation to intoxicated persons from various locations within the City. Six (6) intoxicated persons were arrested for their own protection.
Trespass to Property
Belleville, Ontario ? On 26 August, 2011 at 7:37 a.m., police attended at Foster Avenue in response to a call for assistance by Canadian Pacific Railway. It was reported to police that 4 adults had stowed away on a train travelling from Windsor to Montreal. Three males and 1 female were charged under the Trespass to Property Act and removed from the train.
Belleville Police Service and Canadian Pacific Railway would like to take this opportunity to remind the public of the rail safety. Remember it is against the law to enter railway property. ALWAYS EXPECT A TRAIN. Trains DO NOT follow set schedules. Stay off. Stay away. Stay Alive.
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
Belleville, Ontario ? On 27 August, 2011 at 3:22 p.m., police attended on Front Street in response to a complaint of male and female trafficking drugs. Investigation of this incident resulted in a 20 year female and a 21 year old male being charged with one count each of Possession for the Purpose Trafficking Schedule II and one count each of Possession Property Obtained by Crime. Both parties are scheduled to appear in Provincial court on 20 October, 2011.
