Motor Vehicle Collision Belleville. Ontario

 

 The Belleville Police Service are requesting the help of the public with an investigation of an incident which occurred on August 26th at approximately 11:00 am. A white pickup truck with a white cap reportedly lost a wheel near the intersection of West Moira Street and Howard Street. The wheel reportedly struck a car parked nearby causing some damage. When police arrived at the scene the suspect vehicle was gone. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the investigating officer Constable Warren McCann at 613-966-0882 ext. 4063.

 

Motor Vehicle Collision Belleville, Ontario

 

 At approximately 2:15 pm on August 28, 2014 police were called to Sidney Street north of the College Street West intersection to investigate a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a car and a motorcycle. The motorcycle had been struck from behind and the driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Belleville General Hospital by paramedics. The driver of the car, an 18 year old Belleville woman was charged with Following Too Closely under the Highway Traffic Act and issued a Provincial Offences Notice.

 

Disturbance Belleville, Ontario

 

 At approximately 6:00 pm on August 28, 2014 police were called to the area near the intersection of Tripp Avenue and Elgin Street to investigate a report of several persons fighting on the street. On arrival, they discovered that a female had been pepper sprayed by another female after attempting to assault her with a golf club. Several involved persons had fled the scene in a vehicle which was pulled over by responding officers nearby. As a result of the investigation, three people were arrested and brought to the Belleville Police Service. One of the involved parties who deployed the pepper spray cross contaminated herself and was taken to the Belleville General Hospital where she was treated and released. The following persons have been charged as a result of the incident:

 

  1. Lee-Anne McMuldroch, 36, of Belleville

  2. Barbara McPhee, 32, of Belleville

  3. Kyle ONeill, 38, of Belleville

     

    All three face charges of Assault With a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and were released on Promise to Appears with court dates of October 9, 2014. No one was seriously hurt as a result of the occurrence.
