Car Accidents

On April 29th, at 5:15 p.m., Police attended at a two car accident on Wallbridge-Loyalist Rd. at Moira St. West. There were no injuries reported and no charges were laid.

At 5:50 p.m., Police attended a three-car accident on Pinnacle St. at Dundas St. E. There were no injuries, and no charges were laid.

Radar detector seized

At 8:00 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in a radar detector being seized by the Officer.  The North Carolina woman was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a radar detector.

Intoxicated male

At 10:00 p.m., an officer on patrol observed a male urinating on a building downtown.  This intoxicated male was arrested for Intoxicated in a Public Place under the Liquor Licence Act for his own protection.

Youth arrested//brass knuckles seized

At 10:15 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance at a west hill home.  A 17 year old male was arrested after causing damage to the home.  When arrested, a set of brass knuckles was removed from his pants? pocket.  This youth was charged with Mischief to Property under $5000.00, possession of a prohibited weapon, and weapons dangerous. He was held for a bail hearing on April 30th
