Motor vehicle collisions

 

Belleville, ON – The Belleville Police Service had a very busy day with motorists on the roadways. They had to attend 12 collisions throughout to the city. One that occurred in the late hours of the 28th of August at 1045 pm involved a 31 year old male pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the area of Wallbridge-Loyalist Rd and Moira St. West. The pedestrian was treated and released at Belleville General Hospital for minor injuries. No charges.

 

Domestic Assault

 

Belleville, ON – At approximately 10:30pm, police were called to a residence in the east end of Belleville for a domestic dispute. A forty year old male was taken into custody and charged with assault and uttering threats.

 

Theft from motor vehicles

 

Belleville, ON – Five vehicles were entered between the 27th and 28th of August at night in the area of Tracey Street. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers or The Belleville Police Service.
