Belleville, Ont. – On the 25th of August 2018 police recovered an E-bike that had been left in the parking lot of a west end apartment building. The bike had reportedly been there since the 22nd of August. If anyone has any information with regards to the owner of the bike they encouraged to call The Belleville Police Service property room at 613-966-0882 ext. 2131 during administrative hours.
Breach of Undertaking
Belleville, Ont. – On the 28th of August 2018 shortly before 7:00 P.M. police attended Palmer Rd. in Belleville with regards to a report of a male who was in the area in violation of conditions that he was on. 29 year old Belleville resident Bryson Robinson was arrested and taken to The Belleville Police Service where he was later released on a promise to appear on a charge of breaching his officer in charge undertaking. He was given a September court date to answer to the charge.
Belleville, Ont. – On the 28th of August 2018 at approximately 6:30 P.M. Belleville Police began receiving calls with regards to an erratic driver who was possibly impaired. Calls initially placed the vehicle in the downtown core and further calls of the vehicle being driven into the wrong lane and nearly causing accidents continued with the vehicle being spotted in the Sidney St. area and Bridge St. W. Police caught up to the vehicle in the area of Dundas St. W. and Palmer Rd. A 38 year old female was arrested for impaired driving and taken to The Belleville Police Service where she registered readings of almost three times the legal limit. Belleville resident Nadine Vilneff was later released on a promise to appear with a court date in September to answer to the charges of impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol concentration above the legal limit.

Police stopped a vehicle on Victoria Ave a short time later and arrested a 20 year old female for impaired driving. At the time of this release, she is still in custody pending investigation. She is expected to be released on charges of impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol concentration above the legal limit.
Theft from Motor Vehicles
Belleville, Ont. – On the 29th of August 2018 shortly after 3:00 A.M. police responded to the parking lot of a west end apartment building with regards to a report of two males going through vehicles. Upon arrival, police arrested two males for theft and prowl by night. At the time of this release both males are being held in custody pending investigation. They are expected to be released on charges of theft under $5000 and trespassing at night.
