Assault

Belleville, Ontario ? On 29 February, 2012 at 8:30 a.m., Belleville Police Service arrested a 51 year old male. This male has been employed as a Special Constable with Belleville Police Service since 2000.

Ronald Globe has been charged with one count of assault (medical attention was not required) as a result of an investigation in relation to an on duty incident on 14 February, 2012. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on 29 March, 2012.

Globe has been suspended without pay from all duties associated to his employment with Belleville Police Service.
