Assault cause Bodily Harm and Assault

Belleville, Ontario ? On January 28, 2012 at 9:22pm, police responded to a residence on Ann Street in regards to a disturbance. Police investigation revealed that while one male party was assaulting a female, another male party attempted to assist the female and was also assaulted. As a result, a 31 year old male was arrested and charged with one count of Assault and one count of Assault Cause Bodily Harm and given a court date in February.
