Liquor Licence Act
Belleville, Ont. ? On June 29, 2009, at 7:09 p.m. a call was received about a group of teens drinking behind the businesses at 366 North Front Street. Officers arrived and located two 16 year old females consuming alcohol. Both have been charged with Consuming Alcohol Being under 19 years of age contrary to the Liquor Licence Act of Ontario.
3 ? Day Suspension
Belleville, Ont. ? On June29, 2009, at 10:08 p.m. a vehicle was observed driving erratically on North Front Street. Officers stopped the vehicle and administered the road side Alcotest. The 39 year old Belleville male driver was subsequently issued a 3-Day Driver?s Licence Suspension.
Prohibited Driving
Belleville, Ont. ? On June 29, 2009, at 10:52pm an officer observed a truck towing a trailer with a boat. The taillights were not functioning on the trailer. Upon stopping the vehicle, it was discovered that the 38 year old Stirling male was a Prohibited Driver for Impaired reasons. He was charged with Driving while Prohibited, given a court date for August and his truck was impounded for 45 days.
