Theft Belleville, Ontario


 At approximately 6:20 pm on June 29, 2013 an Eleanor Gardens resident report the theft of a bicycle from her garage. The theft occurred between 1:00 pm 5:00 pm and the bike was described as a womens "Giant mountain bike, 21 speed, royal blue in colour. It had white forks on the front, a womens seat, and a cargo carrier on the back. Anyone with any information about the theft is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.


Mischief Belleville, Ontario


 At approximately 6:31 pm on June 29, 2013 officers were called to a Cedar Street residence to assist a male in retrieving his personal property from the home. With officers present, the resident took a Sony Playstation belonging to the complainant and smashed it on the steps of the home. She was arrested at the scene and later released on an Appearance Notice. Charged with one count of Mischief Under $5000 is Chemi Rhidar, 33, of Belleville. She is to appear in court to answer to the charge on August 1, 2013.


Fraud Belleville, Ontario.


 At approximately 2:03 am on June 30, 2013 police were called to a North Front Street restaurant to investigate a report of two males fleeing from the business without paying for their meals. Both were located nearby by officers and arrested. As a result of the investigation, a 21 year old male was charged with Trespassing and released on a Provincial Offences Notice after paying the outstanding bill. The second suspect, also a 21 year old Belleville man, was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for his own protection and transported to the Belleville Police Service. He was charged with Public Intoxication and was later released on a Provincial Offences Notice.
