Arrest on warrant

Belleville – Shortly after 9:00 P.M. on the 28th of March police arrested a 44 year old Belleville male who was wanted on an outstanding warrant. The male had originally been charged as a result of a police investigation in February of this year with break and enter into his mother’s residence and stealing from her. He was released at a bail hearing at that time with court imposed conditions. On the 19th of March, police were again called to his mother’s residence and investigation again revealed that he had broken in and stole from her a second time. A warrant for his arrest was issued after police could not locate him in a timely fashion. He is being held in custody for another bail hearing later today on a charge of break and enter and two charges of breaching his recognizance from his original charge in relation to not attending his mother’s residence and not residing at the address that he provided for his initial release. His identity is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
