Over 80mgs- Belleville, Ontario

 

On the 29th of November at 01:55Am an officer on patrol observed a vehicle being operated on Lemoine Street in an erratic manner. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was given a road side test that he failed. The driver was transported to Belleville Police Service where further breath tests confirmed that his blood alcohol concentration was above the legal limit. Ryan Young 27yrs. from Belleville is charged with operating a motor vehicle while over 80mgs. He was released on a promise to appear in Belleville Provincial Court on December 17th. His vehicle was seized for 7 days and his licence suspended for 90

days.

 

Motor Vehicle Collision- Belleville, Ontario

 

On the 29th of November Belleville Police at 2:19 investigated a single motor vehicle collision at Old Highway 2 and Point Anne Lane. The driver of the vehicle a 20yr old male from Belleville was not injured in the collision. He is charged with careless driving, G2 Young driver operating above zero bac and was issued a 3 day suspension.

On the evening of November 29/29 Belleville Police Service Ride Team set up Spot Checks at various locations throughout the City. Approximately 320 vehicles were checked with 1- 3 day suspension issued and 2 motorists were investigated for drug offences.
