Breach of Probation
Belleville, Ont. ? On September 29, 2009, at 6:30 p.m., Police responded to a call in the west end of town concerning the ?well being of a person?. Upon entering the apartment, police observed a 42-year old Belleville man inside the residence. An investigation revealed that although he was allowed at this residence, the man was not to have contact with a female person also inside this location. He was arrested for Breach of Probation and is being held for a bail hearing.
Theft from Motor Vehicle
Belleville, Ont. ? On September 29, 2009, an east end resident reported a theft from their vehicle. The vehicle had been parked in the driveway and the owner believes the theft occurred overnight. A GPS was stolen.
Stolen Licence Plate
Belleville, Ont. ? On September 29, 2009, a motor vehicle parked on Avondale Road had a trailer plate stolen. The plate number is V73386.
Theft of Credit Cards
Belleville, Ont. ? On September 29, 2009, a resident in the west end of the city contacted police to report a theft of numerous credit cards. The theft of the credit card folder took place earlier in the day at a north end restaurant. The investigation revealed that numerous credit cards were stolen and some of the cards were used to make purchases of merchandise in different locations throughout the city later that day. The investigation is continuing.
Warrants
Belleville, Ont. ? On September 29, 2009, at 11:30 a.m., a male and female came to the police station to advise they were both on outstanding warrants and wished to turn themselves in. Further investigation revealed both were on outstanding warrants from Quinte West. A 30 year Quinte West male and a 41 year old Quinte West female were arrested and detained in custody until turned over to Quinte West OPP.
