Warrants

Belleville, ON – On Saturday September 28, 2013 at 5:54 pm, police were called to a residence on Pine Street in regards to a disturbance. As a result, a 36 year old male from Oshawa was located nearby and arrested on warrants stemming from a domestic assault and various other criminal code charges. He is currently being held for a show cause hearing 29 September 2013.

Motor vehicle collision

Belleville, ON – Belleville police responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Dundas Street East and Haig Road at approximately 10:07 am. One of the involved vehicles failed to remain at the scene of the accident. It was last seen travelling northbound on Haig Rd only described as a blue car. There were no injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.

Break and Enters

Belleville, Ontario – On Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 7:52 am, police responded to a residence on Henry Street in regards to a break in overnight. Sometime overnight, unknown suspect(s) entered the residence through a rear door and removed a flat screen television. This investigation is continuing.

Shortly thereafter at 9:33 am, police responded to a residence on Coleman Street in regards to a break and enter in the early morning hours. Sometime between 4:00 and 9:00 am, the residence was entered and several wallets and a laptop computer were taken. This investigation is also continuing.
