Road rage

Belleville - On the 28th of September 2018 shortly after 10:00 a.m. police received a report of a road rage incident that occurred on Airport Parkway. A 31 year old female was reportedly punched and had her foot driven over by a male in a black vehicle, possibly a Cadillac. The female did not require medical attention. The only description of the male is that he was wearing a black hat and sunglasses and the vehicle he was driving was last seen westbound on College St. E. Public intoxication

Belleville – On the 28th of September 2018 at approximately 2:30 p.m. police attended the Via Rail on Station St. with regards to a male who had crossed the train tracks between platforms and was belligerent when spoken to by staff. The male was declined access to the westbound train and arrested by police for public intoxication. He was taken to The Belleville Police Service where he was lodged in cells and released on a provincial offence notice later in the evening once sober.

 

Breach of probation

Belleville – On the 29th of September 2018 at 1:50 a.m. while on patrol, an officer observed a male who was in breach of his probation by violating his curfew. The 26 year old Marlbank male was arrested for breach of probation and is being held for video remand on the 29th of September

 

Break and enter

Belleville – On the 29th of September 2018 at 1:50 a.m. police responded to a call with regards to a break and enter. Residents found a male in their garage and subdued him before calling police. Upon arrival police arrested the 25 year old Belleville resident for break and enter and he was taken to The Belleville Police Service. Further investigation revealed that he was also on a probation order and is before the courts on other criminal charges. He is being held for video remand on the 29th of September.

 

Motor vehicle collisions

Belleville – Police received reports of 12 motor vehicle collisions in the said 24 hr. period. Three resulted in minor injuries and charges were also laid in three of the accidents.
