Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville, ON – A two-vehicle collision was reported in the city’s east end at 11:56 a.m. yesterday.  One vehicle sustained damaged it had to be towed from the scene.  As a result of the investigation, a female driver was charged with failing to stop for a stop sign.  There were no injuries reported.

Belleville, ON – Police responded to a two-vehicle collision in the city’s core at 7:35 p.m. last night.  Both vehicles were towed from the accident due to the damage sustained from the collision.  A 17 year-old male from Belleville was charged with turn – not in safety.  There were no injuries reported.

Liquor License Act

Belleville, ON – Police located a 28 year-old man wondering the city’s core at 3:00 a.m. this morning.  After speaking with him, it was determined he consumed alcohol in excess and was unable to properly care for himself.  He was arrested for his own safety under sec. 31(4) of the Liquor License Act and transported back to the Belleville Police Service.  He’s charged with being intoxicated in a public place.
