Theft From Motor Vehicles Belleville, Ontario

Officers with the Belleville Police Service responded to two separate calls for service involving break ins to three vehicles. At approximately 7:00 pm on March 2nd , two cars parked at a Roy Boulevard business were entered. Both vehicles had windows shattered and purses taken from inside. At approximately 11:10 pm on March 2nd police were called to a Sidney Street business where a vehicle was also entered by smashing a window. In that case, a black Toshiba laptop and a black IPOD were stolen from inside. There are no suspects at this time in either case. Anyone with any information about these thefts is asked to call the Belleville Police or Quinte Crimestoppers. The public is once again reminded not to leave valuables in areas of their vehicles where they can be easily seen from the outside. It is strongly recommended that these items be taken from the vehicle or locked in the trunk.

Break and Enter Belleville, Ontario

At approximately 11:38 pm on March 2nd officers attended at a Moira Street East residence to investigate a report of a break and enter. Sometime between 10:45 pm and 11:00 pm unknown person(s) entered the home through an unlocked front door and stole a black Toshiba laptop and a black IPHONE 4S. The investigation is continuing and anyone with any information is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.
