Theft from Motor Vehicle

Belleville, Ontario ? From 30 April, 2010, to 3 May, 2010, police responded to 6 incidents of thefts from motor vehicles. These incidents occurred on Shamrock Road, Auburn Street, Lavalee Square, Robertson Lane, Kellar Drive and Tracey Park Drive. The victims reported that items such as: GPS, IPOD Nano, a wallet, a camera and money were stolen from the vehicles. These investigations are ongoing.

Break and Enter

Belleville, Ontario ? 30 April, 2010, at 8:56 a.m., police attended at Nicholson Catholic College in response to a complaint of a break and enter to the portables located at the rear of the school. The complainant reported that unknown person(s) entered the portables and set off the fire extinguishers and stole numerous computer monitors. This investigation is ongoing.

Mischief(s)

Belleville, Ontario ? 30 April, 2010 to 2 May, 2010 police responded to 6 complaints of mischief to property.

A business on Bell Blvd had a window located at the rear of property shattered.

A resident of Harvest Crescent had some papers that were stored in the glove box of a vehicle destroyed by fire.

A business on North Front Street had its sign knocked over causing $400.00 to $500.00 worth of damage.

A vehicle on Elvins Street was spray painted with black paint sometime between 11:00 a.m. and noon on Saturday, 01 May, 2010.

A building on Cannifton Road was spray painted with graffiti. A residence on Sarah Court had several solar lights damaged and a resident from Henry Street found a bird feeder from a neighbour's property smashed in the front of his residence. These investigations are ongoing.
