The Belleville Police Service responded to 49 calls between November 2nd 2019 at 5:00 a.m. and November 3rd at 2019 at 5:00 a.m.

Impaired Operation

Thurlow ON-On the 2nd of November 2019 at 6 a.m., Belleville Police attended north of Belleville to an address on Harmony Road for a report of a vehicle in the ditch.  When officers arrived on scene the driver was determined to be impaired and was arrested.  32-year-old Tyler Brinklow of Shannonville was charged with impaired operation of a vehicle and driving with over 80 mg of alcohol in his blood.  He was released with a November court date.  No injuries were reported.

3-day suspension

Belleville ON-On the 3rd of November 2019 at 1:30 a.m., Belleville Police stopped a vehicle in a North Front Street parking lot.  Police spoke with the driver and it was determined he had been drinking.  As a result of the investigation a 44-year-old Quinte West man was issued a 3-day driver’s license suspension.

Traffic Violation

Belleville ON-On the 3rd of November 2019 at 2 a.m., Belleville Police conducted a vehicle stop on Moira Street West.  Further investigation revealed that the driver had no insurance or valid permit for the vehicle.  As a result, the 22-year-old driver was given a December court date.
