Belleville, Ontario ? Between 28 August 2011 7:30 p.m. and 30 August 2011 6:06 a.m. police responded to 3 complaints of vehicles being spray painted. All vehicles were parked in the downtown core and orange paint and red paint have been used in these incidents. These investigations are ongoing. Anyone is any information in relation to these investigations is asked to contact Belleville Police at 613 966-0882 or Crime Stoppers at 613 969-8477.

Theft from Motor Vehicles

Belleville, Ontario ? On 29 August, 2011 at 12:18 p.m., police responded to a complaint of a theft of wallet from a motor vehicle parked in a parking lot on College Street East. The thief is described as 17 to 19 years, thin build, wearing a black tank top, blue shorts (with white stripe), with light coloured spiked hair and riding on a BMX style of bike with blue handlebars. This male was observed going through a car and looking inside of several others.

Belleville Police Service would like to remind the community that theft from motor vehicles may occur at any time from any location and the best deterrence is to secure all belongings and lock your vehicle. This investigation is ongoing.
