Missing Person – Still seeking Public’s Assistance

(from media release yesterday)  

The Belleville Police Service received a report on Saturday 28 January 2017 at 6:40 p.m. regarding a missing male person who was last seen by acquaintances at his west hill area home Friday morning 27 January 2017.

Police are still requesting the assistance of the public in locating 70 year old Ronald George COPELAND who is described as a white male 6’3, skinny build with grey short hair. He usually wears a hat and also a dark green jacket that looks too small. He may be wearing camouflage or jean pants.

Police are concerned for his well-being and anyone with information on COPELAND’S whereabouts is asked to contact the Belleville Police Service.

Break and Enter

On the 30th of January at approximately 3:30 A.M., police were called to the city’s west end when a resident was woken by the sound of his dog barking and upon investigating found that his house had been entered. Police searched the residence and the area. No suspects were located however evidence was collected from the scene.
