Theft from Vehicles
Belleville, Ont., - Belleville Police Service is investigating thefts from Motor Vehicles overnight. A 20 year old Belleville female was arrested as a result of a keen eyed neighbor in the area of Lewis Street. She was in possession of various items that did not belong to her. It is believed there were several vehicles entered and property taken. Residents in that area are asked to check their vehicles and report any missing property to the Belleville Police Service.

Damage to Property
Belleville, Ont., -  At about 12:10am on the 30th of January 2009, police responded to a complaint of a residential door being smashed. Officers arrested an 18 year old male for Attempted Break and Enter. The investigation is ongoing at this time with charges pending.

Belleville, Ont., - At about 12:30am the 30th of  January 2009, officers responded to a complaint of persons kicking garbage bags and recycle boxes into the street. The suspects were located and returned to the area by police to clean up several kilometers of debris. Charges are pending against two 20 year old Belleville males.

Belleville, Ont.,  - At about 2:30am 30 January 2009, police were called to a Coleman Street address in reference to a complaint from a frantic female  reporting a male swinging a metal pipe causing damage to the property. Several windows were broken. Police arrived on scene and arrested 2 males and one female. Two persons were taken to BGH for treatment of their injuries. The incident is still under investigation with various charges pending.
