Motor Vehicle Collision
Belleville, Ontario ? On 29 June, 2010 at 4:01 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Dundas Street West at Bay Bridge Road that involved 3 vehicles. It is alleged that this collision was the result of a dump truck and a car stopped at a red light at Dundas Street, West and Bay Bridge Road and the car was hit from the rear by a school bus. The car in turn collided with the rear of the dump truck. There were no injuries reported from this collision. There was no damage reported to the dump truck, minor damage reported to the bus and major damage to the car. The driver of the bus was charged with careless driving.
 
Residential Disturbance
Belleville, Ontario ? On 29 June, 2010 at 3:40 p.m., a neighbour alerted police to a disturbance within a residence on Coleman Street. The disturbance involved 3 residents of this location. One of the roommates of this residence had previously moved out. At this time this resident had returned to gather some belongings and had arranged for 4 persons known to him attend at the residence in order to assist him. The situation escalated to a physical confrontation and as a result 3 persons were charged.

Jason Clancy (27 years) of Belleville has been charged with one count of Assault, one count of Utter Death Threats and one count of Unlawfully in a Dwelling.

Jacob Hopkin (20 years) of Belleville has been charged with one count of Assault, one count of Unlawfully in a Dwelling and one count of Breach of Recognizance.

Joseph Hopkin (23 years) of Belleville has been charged with one count of Assault, one count of Unlawfully in a Dwelling. All three will appear in Provincial court on 26 August, 2010.
