Belleville, Ontario – On March 29th, 2015, at 4:29 a.m. police attended at a disturbance in the City’s west end.  During the altercation, a male sustained a knife wound to his abdomen. He was transferred to Kingston General Hospital where he remains in serious condition. A 19 year old Belleville man has been charged with aggravated assault. He will appear in court on May 14th, 2015.  Charges are pending in relation to the injured male.  The Criminal Investigations Branch is continuing the investigation.

Domestic Assault

Belleville, Ontario – On March 29th, 2015, at 10:10 a.m. police attended on Bleecker Avenue in relation to a complaint of an assault.  A 49 year Belleville man was arrested and charged with assault.  He will appear in court on May 4th, 2015. The victim received minor injuries but did not require medical attention.


Belleville, Ontario – On March 29th, 2015, at 5:10 p.m. police attended at the intersection of Moira Street East and Pinnacle Street in relation to a two-car accident. Belleville Fire Department and EMS attended to treat two occupants who had suffered minor injuries.  Public Works attended to clear debris off of the roadway as both vehicles were towed from the scene.

An 88 year old Belleville man was charged with disobeying a red light.
