Recovered stolen cell phone


Belleville, Ontario On May 28th, 2014 police attended at a local pawn shop in relation to a cell phone that was suspected as being stolen.  With the assistance of the staff, the pawn shop listed an 18 year old Belleville man as the seller.  Officers met with the seller on May 29th at which time the male was charged with theft under $5000. He will appear in court on June 19th. The phone had been reported stolen on May 14th as it had been removed from a parked car on Victoria Avenue.
