Thefts from Vehicles

Belleville, Ontario Belleville Police are reminding motorists to be vigilant and keep their vehicles locked. If at all possible keep parcels and valuables out of site. With Christmas approaching we are experiencing an upswing in thefts from vehicles. An unlocked vehicle or parcels and valuables left in plain sight are a temptation to thieves.

Single Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville, Ontario At approximately 12:25 p.m. Belleville Police responded to a single motor vehicle accident at Shoppers Drug Mart on Dundas St East. An 83 year old female driver had driven her vehicle through a window at the front of the store. There were no injuries sustained.


234 vehicles checked: I driver charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficing and released with a Court date in January., another driver charged with Breaching the Conditions of his Recognizance (curfew) and held for a Bail Hearing.
