Theft from Motor Vehicles/Possession
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 1, 2009, at 3:40 a.m., an officer on patrol observed two males acting suspiciously in the east end of Belleville. After speaking with the two, information was received that they were on Conditions of non Communications with each other. Two 15 year old Belleville youths were arrested for Fail to Comply with an Undertaking.
Further investigation revealed both males were found to be in possession of a number of personal items and as a result the first youth was charged with one count each of Fail to Comply with an Undertaking, Theft Under $5000. From Motor Vehicle, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon, and Possession of Break in Instruments.
The second youth was charged with one count each of Theft Under $5000. From Motor Vehicle, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possession of Break in Instruments, and two counts of Fail to Comply with Undertaking.
Both youths have been detained in custody awaiting a Bail hearing set for this date. No further information will be released due to the provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
