Belleville, Ontario – On September 29th, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. Police attended at a on MacDonald Avenue in response to . Investigation revealed that unknown person(s) forced entry sometime overnight and stole an Acer laptop computer and 4 Royal Doulton figurines. This investigation is ongoing.

Accident – Car vs pedestrian

Belleville, Ontario – On September 29th, 2012, at 6:10 p.m. Police responded to an accident at the intersection of Victoria Ave. at Herchimer Ave. A car had struck a pedestrian in the intersection. The pedestrian was transported by EMS to Quinte Health Care with minor injuries. A 56 year old Belleville man was charged with Failing to Yield the right-of-way to a Pedestrian.

Assault with a Weapon

Belleville, Ontario – On September 29th, 2012, at 11:55 p.m., Police were called to a residence on Yeomans Street in response to a disturbance. A 63 year old Belleville man was arrested for Domestic Assault. He was also charged with Assault with a Weapon on a second person that was in the residence. The first victim was taken to Quinte Health Care by EMS with minor injuries. The second victim suffered minor injuries but did not require medical attention. The accused was held for a Bail Hearing on October 1st, 2012.

Arrest on Warrant

Belleville, Ontario – On September 29th, 2012, at 8:30 p.m., a 21 year old Kingston man was arrested on outstanding warrants held by Belleville Police Service. The warrants were for two counts of Breach of Probation. The male was held for a Bail Hearing on October 1st, 2012.

Disturbances

Belleville, Ontario –On September 30th, 2012, at 1:15 a.m., Police observed a male stumbling out into traffic on N. Front Street. A 19 year old Belleville man was arrested for public intoxication.

On September 30th, 2012, at 2:15 a.m., Police attended on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road in relation to a disturbance. A 19 year old Belleville man was arrested for public intoxication.

On September 30th, 2012, at 3:45 p.m., Police attended at a business on Hwy 62 in relation to a male laying on the ground. A 25 year old New Brunswick man was arrested for public intoxication.

Impaired Drivers

Belleville, Ontario –On September 30th, 2012, at 2:35 a.m., an officer on patrol observed a car northbound in the southbound lane of North Front St. The car was stopped and a 43 year old Madoc man was issued a 3 day licence suspension. In addition, he was given a ticket for careless driving.

On September 30th, 2012, at 4:45 a.m., Officers responded to Hwy 37 in response to an impaired driver. The officers discovered that the female driver was passed out behind the wheel with the vehicle running. A 25 year old Belleville woman was arrested for Impaired Driving. She will appear in court on October 18th, 2012.
