The Belleville Police Service responded to 61 calls for service between November 29th, 2018 at 5:00 a.m. and November 30th, 2018 at 5:00 a.m.

Lock-it or Lose-it

Belleville, ON - On the 29th of November 2018, members of the Belleville Police Auxiliary and Community Policing Volunteers checked approximately 500 vehicles at various locations around the city including the Quinte Mall, Walmart, Best Buy, and the Wellness Centre. Of all the vehicles checked, approximately 20 vehicles were found to be insecure with valuables in plain sight. With the holiday shopping season fast approaching, police are reminding the public to ensure their vehicles are secured and recommend that valuables be place out of sight if possible.

There were no other significant incidents to report.
