On May 31, 2009, at 9:15 p.m., Police were called to a west end address to assist EMS with an unruly patient. A 67 year old Belleville man was arrested for public intoxication for his own protection. He was later released with a violation under the Liquor Licence Act..
On May 31, 2009, at 6:00 p.m., Police responded to a report of a missing person. The investigation revealed the 15 year Belleville girl was violating a number of her Bail Conditions. She was located later and arrested and charged with four counts of Failure to Comply with Sentence or Disposition contrary to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
On May 31, 2009, at 5:45 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle on Hwy 37 for possessing a radar detector. The detector was seized, and a 43 year old Oakville man was charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
On May 31, 2009, at 9:15 p.m., a traffic stop on Sidney St. at Tracey St. resulted in a number of charges being laid. The 40 year old Belleville woman was initially stopped because she had unauthorized licence plates on her vehicle and a further investigation revealed she was also a suspended driver. The plates were seized, and this woman will appear in traffic court.
