Belleville, Ontario ? on 30 March 2012 at 7:300 p.m., officers attended at a residence on Leslie Road in response to a report of an assault.

It was reported that a man received minor injuries after a woman allegedly struck him in the head with a beer bottle.

A 53yr old woman was arrested and is being held from a show cause hearing Monday. She faces charges of assault with a weapon and three counts of breaching an undertaking.

Impaired Driving

Belleville, Ontario ? On 31 March 2012 at 2:51 a.m. police attended at a North Front Street business in response to a complaint a possible impaired driver in the drive- through.

Police located the vehicle and the investigation resulted in the driver of this vehicle being charged with Operation of a Motor Vehicle with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in his blood. Beau Sherk (27 years) of Ajax is scheduled to appear in Provincial court on 19 April, 2012.

Belleville Police Service would like to remind the public to report possible impaired drivers by calling 911 and as well acknowledge the swift actions of the employees in this incident.
