Residential Garage - Break and Enter

On 30 May 2017 at 3:15 p.m. Belleville Police investigated a residential break and enter on Spruce Gardens. The investigation revealed that sometime overnight unknown person(s) entered an unlocked garage and rummaged through a vehicle. The suspect(s) took small items from the vehicle.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Belleville Police or Crime Stoppers.


On 30 May 2017 at 11:02 p.m. Police responded to the area of Pinnacle Street and Moira Street East for a report of a male found with stab wounds to the neck and arm.

The 32 year old Belleville man was taken by EMS to Belleville Hospital and treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation indicates an altercation took place between a group of persons in the area of Station Street between The Beer Store and the Moira River Pedestrian Bridge.

Anyone who saw a disturbance around 11 p.m. in that area or has information is asked to contact Belleville Police or Crime-stoppers.
