Belleville, Ontario ? On 3 November, 2011 at 5:47 a.m., police attended at a residence in the City's west end in response to a complaint of an assault. It was reported that the assault had previously occurred in front of a business on Front Street and the male victim was assaulted by 2 unknown males and was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Belleville General Hospital. This investigation on-going.


Belleville, Ontario ? On 3 November, 2011 at 6:28 p.m., police attended at Ashley Lane and Great St. James Street for an abandoned house fire ? police were on general patrol in area and spotted the fire already in progress. Investigation is on-going in conjunction with the Belleville Fire Department.

Motor Vehicle Collisions

Belleville, Ontario ? police investigated 6 collisions throughout the city. Four of the 6 collisions were reported as minor in nature with only damage to the vehicles.

At 11:29 p.m. on 3 November, 2011 police responded to a single motor vehicle accident on Blessington Road in which a horse was struck and killed ? the driver was not injured and the vehicle sustained substantial damage

At 11:51 p.m. on 3 November, 2011 police responded to a hit and run accident that occurred in a parking lot of a business on North Front Street in which a Belleville resident was struck by a vehicle sustaining non-life threatening injuries, the investigation is on-going.
