Dundas Street WestMVC Update

Belleville, Ontario ? On 25 October 2011 at 11:43 p.m., police responded to a single vehicle collision at the intersection of Dundas Street West and Bay Bridge Road.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a red 1993 Honda Civic was eastbound on Dundas Street, West (travelling from Sidney Street towards Holden Street). There were 4 occupants (3 males' ages 17, 19, 20 and 1 female aged 18 years) in this vehicle. The Honda lost control just west of the intersection at Bay Bridge Rd and this caused the vehicle to rotate and strike a cement utility pole (at the passenger door). Two passengers were extracted from the vehicle with the assistance of BFD. All occupants were taken to QHC via ambulance where 3 persons were treated and released from BGH. One occupant was transferred to KGH and remains in hospital.
