Intoxicated in Public Place
Belleville, Ont. - On October 4, 2009, at 4:10 a.m., police responded to a North Front Street hotel regarding a complaint of an intoxicated female passed out in the lobby. On arrival, police observed the female sleeping on a couch. When the female woke she was unaware of her surroundings and thought she was in Richmond Hill.
The 19 year old Oak Ridges woman was arrested her own protection contrary to the Liquor Licence Act. She was later released with a Provincial Offences Notice for this offence.
Theft of 4-Wheeler
Belleville, Ont. - On October 4, 2009, at 11:00 a.m., police received a complaint of a theft of a child?s VSTAR 70CC 4 Wheeler. The theft occurred at a Moira Street West address sometime overnight.
On this same date the owner of the 4 Wheeler called police at 6:45 p.m., to advise the 4 Wheeler was now back in her possession. The owner had received a phone call from a friend who observed the 4 Wheeler being driven by a male in a gas station lot on Moira Street West. The owner approached the male and told him to ?get off the 4 Wheeler? at which time she took her 4 Wheeler back. This incident is currently under investigation.
Over 08
Belleville, Ont. - On October 4, 2009, at 3:30 a.m., police received a complaint of an Impaired Driver in a Drive Thru on North Front Street. As a result a 24 year old Belleville female was arrested and charged with Over 08MGS. She was later released on a Promise to Appear with a November court date.
Shoplifters
Belleville, Ont. - On October 4, 2009, police responded to three reports of Shoplifters between 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., one occurred at the Shoppers at the Quinte Mall and two occurred at two different times at Wal Mart. A 29 year old male, a 21 year old male and a 15 year old female were all arrested in these events.
