The Belleville Police Service responded to 57 calls for service between January 3rd, 2018 at 5:00 a.m. and January 4th, 2018 at 5:00 a.m.

Stunt Driving

Belleville, Ontario – On January 3rd, 2019 at 12:52 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Old Hwy 2. The vehicle that was stopped was clocked at 112 km/h in a 60 km/h zone. The 23-year-old Belleville man was charged with stunt driving and will appear in Traffic Court on February 4th, 2019. His licence was suspended for seven days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Bail Violation//drug seizure

Belleville, Ontario – On January 3rd, 2019, at 10:39 p.m. officers recognized a woman on Bell Blvd who had been released on bail. One of her conditions included “not to be on Bell Blvd”. She was arrested for breaching her undertaking. During the arrest, several small plastic bags with a white powdery substance were seized. Melissa Ann Allin, 39 years of age, of Belleville, will appear in court on January 17th, 2019 on charges of breaching an undertaking, possession of cocaine, and possession of crystal meth.
