Motor Vehicle Collision ?

Belleville, Ontario ? At approximately 6:26 am on February 4, 2012 officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision at the Tim Horton's Restaurant located at 48 Dundas Street West in Belleville. On arrival officers discovered that a vehicle had jumped the curb in the parking lot and had smashed through a window and come to rest inside the building. The driver of the vehicle was unhurt, however three patrons inside had been struck and were injured. All three were transported by ambulance to the Belleville General Hospital and one was released after being treated for minor injuries. The two others are presently being treated for non life-threatening injuries. Officers with the Belleville Police Service Forensic Identification Unit as well as the Traffic Management Unit were called in to assist with the investigation. At this time the cause of the accident is still under investigation and no charges have been laid.
