Break and Enter

Belleville, Ontario ? February 4, 2010, police attended at a residence on Emily Street in response to a complaint of a break and enter. The resident reported that between 9 and 10 a.m. unknown person(s) stole his 42? LCD television. This investigation is ongoing.

Belleville, Ontario ? February 5, 2010 at approximately 5:22 a.m. police attended at a business on Dundas Street West in response to a break and enter that occurred at approximately 5:00 a.m. Entry was gained by kicking in the front doors. It is believed that nothing was taken, but the front door was damaged. Suspects, described as 2 males, one is approximately 6' in height and the other is shorter, both were all dressed in black clothing and both were wearing balaclavas were observed to take off running from business in an unknown direction. This investigation is ongoing.

Liquor License Act

Belleville, Ontario - February 4, 2010, at approximately 5:50 p.m. police were at BGH on an unrelated matter. While there, police were advised by hospital staff that there was an intoxicated male in the hospital. The male was found wandering in traffic and showed signs of intoxication. A 49 year old Belleville male was arrested for his own protection, charged under the Liquor License Act for being intoxicated in a public place and later released.

Mischief

Belleville, Ontario ? February 4, 2010, at 7:38 a.m. police attended at an apartment complex on North Park Street in response to a damaged windshield. The owner reported that sometime between 7:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. unknown person(s) damaged the windshield over the driver seat of her 1998 Chevrolet GMC, brown in colour. This investigation is ongoing.

Belleville Ontario ? February 4, 2010, at 8:28 a.m. police attended at a residential complex on St. Charles Street in response to complaint of Mischief. The owner of a 1999 Grand Am reported that sometime overnight unknown person(s) smashed the side window of his vehicle and ransacked it. There was nothing stolen. This investigation is ongoing.

Belleville Ontario ? February 4, 2010, at 8:28 a.m. police attended at a residential complex on Union Street in response to a complaint of forced entry into a 1997 Saturn car sometime between Tuesday evening and Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. This investigation is ongoing.
