The Belleville Police Service responded to 75 calls between November 4th 2019 at 5:00 a.m. and November 5th at 2019 at 5:00 a.m.

Break and Enter

Belleville ON- On the 4th of November 2019, at 10:05 a.m., police received a call to an Airport Parkway address regarding a theft of tires. Some time between Friday, the 1st of November and Monday, the 4th of November, unknown suspects cut a hole into a fence and stole a large number of tires valued at approximately $5000. Police are seeking witnesses to the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cst Lacey Montgomery at lmontgomery@police.belleville.on.ca

Drug charges after arrest on warrants.

Belleville ON- On the 5th of November 2019, at 1:30 a.m., police were patrolling a North Front Street bar when they observed a male who was currently wanted for failing to attend court. The male was searched after being arrested and a large quantity of cocaine and methamphetamine, valued at approximately $20,000, was located in a bag he was carrying. The 24-year-old Belleville man was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he was held for a bail hearing. His name is being withheld until his bail hearing.

Arrested on warrants.

Belleville ON- On the 5th of November 2019, at 2:30 a.m., police observed a male on Cannifton Road who was known to be wanted. Upon speaking to the male, police learned that he had two other warrants for his arrest from incidents in 2014 and 2015. Richard Hayman, 49, of Belleville was arrested and held for a bail hearing.
