Assault with Weapon, Resist Arrest & Dangerous Driving
Belleville, Ontario ? On 2 September, 2011 at 7:47 p.m., police attended in the area of
Quinte Mall parking lot in response to a driving complaint. The victim reported that the driver of a blue 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix had almost struck him while walking to his parked vehicle.
Police observed this vehicle travelling south on Cannifton Road at high rate of speed. The vehicle was eventually stopped on College Street East near Pearl Street.
Investigation of this complaint resulted in a 21 year old Belleville female being charged with Dangerous Driving, Assault with a Weapon and Resist Arrest. This female is scheduled to appear in provincial court on 19 September, 2011.
Break and Enter(s)
Belleville, Ontario ? On 3 September, 2011 at 8:24 a.m., police attended at a residence on Grier Street in response to a complaint of a break and enter that occurred between midnight and 8:00 a.m... It was reported that unknown person(s) entered the residence and stole electronics and the vehicle keys to a black, 1999 Mercury Sable. The vehicle had Ontario plates (BHXN 680) attached.
Belleville, Ontario ? On 4 September, 2011 at 4:57 p.m., police attended at a residence on Eleanor Gardens in response to a complaint of a break and enter that occurred between 11:30 p.m. and 1 a.m. and stole electronics.

Operation of Motor Vehicle with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol
Belleville, Ontario ? On 2 September, 2011 at 7:36 p.m., police responded to a possible impaired driver operating an older black Ford car that had been reported as possibly travelling from South Front Street to Station Street.
Police located this vehicle on Station Street.
Investigation resulted in the driver of the black Ford being charged with one count of Operation of Motor Vehicle with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol.
Gary Stanton 49 years of Belleville is scheduled to appear in Provincial court on 15 September, 2011.
Theft of Motor Vehicle/ Flight from Police/ Impaired
Belleville, Ontario ? On 3 September, 2011 at 4:33 a.m., while on general patrol police observed a green Dodge Caravan travelling west on Station Street.
This vehicle failed to stop at a red light at Church and Station Street and again at Front Street and Pinnacle Street. Police attempted to stop the vehicle in the area of Coleman and Bridge Streets to no avail.
The vehicle took off west bound on Bridge Street East winding through the City and eventually making its way from Wallbridge Loyalist Road to travel east bound on Highway 401.
This vehicle was stopped on Highway 401 just west of the Napanee turn off.
Investigation of this incident resulted in Trevor Cox (22 years) of Belleville being charged with one count each of:
- Theft under $5000.00
- Possession of Property (under $5000.00) Obtained by Crime
- Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- Operation of Motor Vehicle with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol
- Flight from Police
- Breach of Probation.
Cox is scheduled to appear in Provincial court on 22 September, 2011.
Mischief to Vehicle(s)
Belleville, Ontario ? Overnight on 3 September to 5:09 p.m. on 4 September, 2011 unknown person(s) spray painted one vehicle on John and Pearl Streets and 2 vehicles on Chatham Street. Missing Person Located
Belleville, Ontario - On the 26th of August 2011 at 14:15 hrs, police attended 34 Benjamin Street in response to a complaint of a missing 14 year old female.
On 2 September, 2011 at 8:14 p.m., police located Bailey Broadbent and she is no longer considered a missing person.
Belleville, Ontario ? On 4 September, 2011 at 3:15 p.m. police attended at a residence on Dunnet Blvd in response to a report of a truck being stolen. The owner reported that between 3 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on 3 September, 2011 unknown person(s) stole a white 2000 Chevrolet Silverado truck with Ontario plates 7035WS on the front and rear.
